If you thought the biggest fashion problem of 2016 was how to stay warm while wearing a Bardot top, you've just been proven wrong.
Google has revealed the most searched-for fashion questions of the past year.
The top 10 questions included how to use a needle threader, how to iron silk - and what to do when you accidentally sit on an old piece of chewing gum in your favourite pair of jeans.
The fashion problem the most people turned to the search engine to solve this year was: 'How to get ink out of clothes'.
This was followed by how to tie a Windsor knot in second place, and how to iron silk in third.
Next came how to use a needle threader, followed by how to shrink clothes that are too big and then another stain removal query - how to get rid of lipstick marks.
Seventh on the most-Googled list was how to stretch a t-shirt, followed by how to get chewing gum off jeans, how to clean white Converse trainers, and finally how to get wax off cloth.
To save on searching, FEMAIL has compiled a list of handy household tips to help those struggling with such sartorial dilemmas...
How to get ink out of clothes
Try applying rubbing alcohol, an aerosol hairspray, or an anti-bacterial hand-wash directly onto the stain to help dissolve it.

How to iron silk
Turn the steam setting on your iron up as far as possible to create lots of moisture.
Mist the silk with water, place it face down on the ironing board and cover it with cloth.
Keep the iron moving and ensure it doesn't rest on any one spot on the fabric for too long, to prevent burning the silk.

How to shrink clothes
Wash the garment in the washing machine on the longest cycle available, with the temperature set to hot, then tumble dry it at a high temperature.
How to get lipstick out of clothes
Spritz the lipstick mark with hairspray and leave it to sit for several minutes.
Dampen a clean cloth using warm water and use it to gently wipe away the stain, then wash as normal.
How to stretch a t-shirt
Wet the t-shirt, lay it on a flat surface, and gently pull the fabric both length-ways and width-ways, concentrating on the area you'd like it to be more roomy.
Once stretched, hang out the t-shirt to air dry.
How to get chewing gum off jeans
Pop the jeans in a plastic bag and stash them in the freezer until the gum has frozen solid.
Once it has completely hardened, use a spoon or a blunt knife to scrape it off the denim.
How to clean white Converse
First, remove the laces. If they're grubby too, soak them in some warm, soapy water.
Put the Converse into a mesh bag then wash in the machine on a cold temperature, using a bleach free washing powder.
Allow the shoes to air dry.
How to get wax off cloth
Place a towel underneath the item on a flat surface, and cover it with paper towels.
Iron over the area covered with wax using an iron set at a low to medium heat - this should cause the wax to melt and soak into the paper towels.
